installer hangs if not administrator

I was installing the latest driver for 64 bit windows 7 and the installer would repeatedly hang. It would get to a certain point and just sit. Neither dying nor moving forward.

For a loss of what to do, I installed as administrator and it installed successfully. Usually when you need to install as admin, it tells you don't have privileges instead of hanging. Not sure if I report to you or not as it was installed from: http://www.stickpeople.com/projects/python/win-psycopg/

    I suppose psycopg installer is the regular installer executable built by distutils. I can hardly believe this wouldn't have been reported before, either to distutils or to the Psycopg ML, so I tend to blame your Windows installation for the issue.

    I'm closing this bug. If you find the issue repeatable please feel free to re-open it, but contact Jason, who is the maintainer of the Windows porting, and make him aware of the ticket: I don't think he has got any notification about it.
