How do I make a multi-connection data load atomic?

#213

This is not a bug. This is a design or best practices question. If this is off-topic here, please direct me appropriately.

Here is my question: http://stackoverflow.com/q/23354034/877069

The question is about Amazon Redshift, which exposes a PostgreSQL interface, but it should be equally applicable to PostgreSQL.

Basically, I am trying to load data in parallel using ThreadedConnectionPool.

Is there a convenient way to make the activity across all the connections in the pool atomic?
